This web site started out with the primary intention of teaching others how to interpret their own Astrological Birth Chart for the purpose of Self-Understanding, thereby using this wisdom to pursue their spiritual fulfillment and security, so they will be motivated to contribute to our world in a positive way.
Sounds great, right? It sounds like astrology is the key to all your problems and the solution to world peace, doesn’t it? Well, the truth is astrology is a great diagnostic tool, but it’s NOT the healer. Astrology can show you where the problem areas are, but it doesn’t tell you how to fix them. Astrology can give you clues, but it can’t lead you by the hand and guide you to bliss and abundance. Astrology can help you to understand your outer personality tendencies and some of your possible potential destinies on this earthly plane, but it doesn’t do justice to who you really ARE within.
Astrology is a very sacred TOOL, but it is far from being the holy grail. It will change you, it will bring you a tremendous amount of self-awareness of your ego and how your ego relates to others and the environment. And, these things are very valuable to most people.
However, it cannot bring on true enlightenment. With it alone you cannot attain liberation from suffering. Astrology will not give you complete peace and joy. For these things come from only one place: God, the Divine, your Higher Self, Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, the Univeral Consciousness . . . or whatever name or image you use to represent the Source of the IDEAL, Highest, Unconditional Love and Most PERFECT Peace and Joy and the Source for all Life and True Wisdom.
For it really doesn’t matter what you call it or what image you give to it, because no words, pictures nor person can fully represent exactly what “IT” is. Two things are certain though, (1) there is only ONE SOURCE for this unmistakable ENERGY and (2) it is your LOVE and GRATITUDE for it and your undivided ATTENTION on it that connects you to it.
Therefore this web site is not solely focused on astrology nor other occult sciences. There are many other more important things–besides astrological knowledge–that can bring actual healing and true transformation within us and in our outer lives. And, of all of them the most important one is our relationship with the ultimate Divine within us.
Depending on where you are on your self-discovery path and/or spiritual journey, it is quite possible that you could experience knowledge of your astrology birth chart as revolutionary! It could greatly excel your previous life experiences causing you to think of it as a gift from the gods! The wisdom you glean from your birth chart could prove to expand your awareness beyond what you ever thought possible!
On the other hand, if you have been deeply steeped in an extremely disciplined spiritual practice with rigorous meditation, constant prayer, and chanting in an ashram for many years, you may view astrology as too superficial and indulging in it could feel like a downgrade to you.
The unfolding of your Real Self is unique to you. Wherever you are along your path, it IS where you are suppose to be. There is no right or wrong way, there is no above or below others, there is only YOUR JOURNEY to discovering WHO YOU REALLY ARE. You will discover the Truth eventually–whether it be this lifetime or the next, or the next–we all will . . . eventually. Until then, try to ENJOY your journey! Remember: it’s all good cause it’s ALL GOD!
ABOUT REV. LEIGHNN MYCKO
Rev. LeighAnn Mycko began Astrology Ministries in Hawaii teaching others how to read their own natal chart. However, she quickly learned the limits of astrology, so she began to explore other avenues of healing and transformation. Meditation, prayer, and forgiveness work and gratitude practice proved to be the spiritual nurishment and support she was looking for.
Today Rev. Mycko and her husband live happily in Hawaii. Currently, Rev. Mycko owns and operates GODSPELL SPIRITUAL ADVISOR in downtown Pahoa, Hawaii. Locally, Monday – Saturday she offers FREE Spiritual Path Readings. She is a Hawaii State licensed minister.
