WHAT THIS MINISTRY IS ALL ABOUT:

Rev. LeighAnn Mycko began Astrology Ministries in Hawaii teaching others how to read their own natal chart.  This is a non-denominational organization dedicated to teaching others how to interpret their own Astrological Birth Chart for the purpose of Self-Understanding, thereby using this wisdom to pursue their spiritual fulfillment and security, so they will be motivated to contribute to our world in a positive way.

People who study their birth chart become clear about ‘who they are,’ ‘why they are here,’ and ‘where they are going’ and develop a genuine sense of PURPOSE that inspires them to actively participate for the good of mankind. Natal Astrology is first and foremost a sacred healing tool that assists others in finding personal freedom and fulfillment.

Wouldn’t the world be a nicer place if everyone—or even half of everyone—was on their path working toward fulfillment? …..just imagine…..

This blog is intended to be a source of educational tools, resources and inspiration for the Astrology Student, particularly natal astrology.  Because of some of the extreme life experiences that Rev. Mycko has had in her past, you may find several  frank articles on the following subjects:

Rev. Mycko feels that the personal drama in our lives contributes to the greater World in a negative way and it is important that people know that there are tools to help minimize personal problems which draw in destructive energies.  Such tools will be added to this site as they are developed.

LeighAnn’s Life Story:

LeighAnn was raised in an upper middle class home while both parents had successful professional careers.  Her parents divorced when she was five.  LeighAnn left her unstable violent father—to live with her mother—around the age of 14.  It was then she was molested by her future step-father.  Her functioning alcoholic mother ignored this news and expected her daughter to live happily under the same roof with her predator.  With nowhere else to turn, LeighAnn went to her pastor for help, but he behaved inappropriately toward her as well.  These heart-wrenching events led LeighAnn to an early marriage, two children, a divorce and eventual atheism.  After college, therapy and many years of educating herself on dysfunctional families, she began to rebuild her life as a single mother.  She started her own successful advertising company which provided a very comfortable and respectable life for her and her children.  The child raising years as a career woman were tough, but she was grateful she no longer had to live in fear. 

Although there was never a shortage of suitors, her romantic life proved to be unstable and disappointing.  The one and only serious marriage proposal that she ever received, during that time, did not come until her children were grown.  As an atheist at age 40 she took the offer and married a minister.  Even though she was very much in love with this saint-of-a-man, she decided that the traditional church lifestyle was not for her and moved to New Orleans and got a divorce.  This process was painfully dramatic as she was also helping with the clean up after Katrina.  At age 41 she began studying Astrology full-time and re-married at age 42.  Her new marriage was full of all the bad behavior habits she had long left behind, but because she had great compassion for this angry man, she stayed and worked through the trying times, determined to heal him as she had healed herself.   By no means was the relationship all bad;  it was also filled with intense romance, love and desire, which motivated her intent.

Rev. LeighAnn Mycko attributes most of her “extreme crazy life” to her Pluto conjunct Uranus in Virgo conjuncting her AC in the 12th house.  In addition, she feels that her Sun conjunct Mars conjunct Saturn in Aquarius inconjuncting her AC, and her Pisces Venus and Chiron conjunct her DC, also contributed to her unstable ‘strange’ life. 

Her roller-coaster-ride-of-a-life did not calm down until she moved 4,000 miles from her birthplace at age 43.  In her relocation chart, this moved her Pluto/Uranus into her 3rd house, and completely off of her AC!  This calmness did not occur overnight, though.  Much of the ugly relationship habits followed and continued for at least a year.  However, the “incidents” seemed to happen less often.  Within two years the relationship problems faded completely away.  Her whole life was transformed from extreme and complicated to calm, harmonious joy. 

She taught her husband astrology and they enjoyed hours and hours of deep discussion as the relationship healed and the love grew.  LeighAnn followed her heart and became an ordained minister.  She contributes this decision to the new placements in her relocation chart:  Jupiter and Sedna becoming elevated in the 10th house of career, stellium in the 8th  house of Astrology and Pisces Venus and Chiron into the 9th house of philosophy and religion.  Jupiter is 11 degrees from the MC.  The MC is often referred to as one’s “calling” in Astrology. 

She believed strongly that Astrology had healed her husband, her marriage and her life, so she started developing an easy step-by-step system of chart delineation in the form of a workbook.  Once completed, she started using the workbook to teach others how to read their own chart, so they could begin to understand themselves and their lives.  

Rev. LeighAnn Mycko intends to continue to share her personal stories and Astrology discoveries in hopes that it may help others to heal themselves and their loved ones.  She and her husband invite you to journey within and embrace the power of love.

 

Today Rev. Mycko and her husband live happily in Hawaii.   Currently, Rev. Mycko accepts one Astrology student per month in her home.    Her and her husband are planning on building an Astrology school in Hawaii in the near future.   Classes will range from beginner Astrology to relationship Astrology.   Their hopes are that students will apply the Astrology knowledge to their own lives, healing themselves and their families.  Mr. and Rev. Mycko are firm believers in “knowledge is power,” and want to inspire others to use such powers for the good of humanity.
